In this art assignment, we had to take an old, damaged photograph and restore it using Photoshop.

The picture on the left side is the original of my great grandparents. The one on the right side is the restored version of it. If you look closely at the original, you can see scratches and bend marks. The new one does not have that, and the colour is a lot better too.

This second set of pictures is another set of my great grandparents. Once again the original has scratch marks and has some waterstains. The edges were also ripped. In the restored version I fixed all of that and also fixed the colour.
In this third set of pictures, the one on the top is the original that I found on the internet, and the one on the bottom is the restored version. There was a lot of water damage, colour fading, and other problems that I fixed up.
This final picture is composed of two edited versions of the pictures from above merged together. So my great grandparents got to join in on the party that was going on! This part required removing two people so the picture would look natural. One person is close to being covered up by the woman and the other one is covered using the clone tool and also by making a woman's skirt cover him.
